Motor racing is a sport that enables both the fan and the competitor, to travel to various destinations around the world. The British Grand Prix is usually hosted at Silverstone, but from 2010 it is thought that this motor racing event will be moved to Donnington Park. People who go to watch the motor racing get to see the qualifying sessions which usually take place on a Saturday before the main event, and this involves the drives battling it out for pole position on the Sunday’s race. The Sunday race it the calendar event of the year ‘the Formula 1 British Grand Prix’.

Spa-Francorchamps is where the Belgian Grand Prix is held, and the German Grand Prix is held at both the Nurburgring and Hockenhein race circuits.
Motor racing itself hosts events all over the world, whether it is grand prix racing or motor bike racing, where the biggest race is the TT race which is held yearly on the Isle of Man. Formula one racing takes the fans to tracks and racing which are held in China, Bahrain, Spain, Monaco, Turkey, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, Belgium, Italy, Singapore, Japan, Abu Dhabi, Australia and Malaysia. There is a chance to both watch the racing and sight see. For example if you were to watch Formula one in Monaco, then you would be holidaying on the French Riviera, playground for the rich, and with Cannes, Nice, St Tropez and Monaco all part of this holiday destination, it may well be that you see your fair share of the famous too. The atmosphere in Nice is great and has a fantastic night life and shopping culture.
Motor racing requires a great deal of sponsorship, as maintenance of the racing vehicles is crucial. Servicing is a key part of keeping the race circuit moving, and the cars performing. Maintenance such as Seat Tuning and Smart Tuning is therefore essential.
To be involved in the motor racing scene requires dedication, time and money, but the pros often out way the cons, and with great destinations to visit like Monaco and Australia it is well worth it.
