Cuba is popular throughout the year, but the peak times in which people choose to travel are usually July and August , Easter and Christmas. Unfortunately if these are the months of choice then you can expect to pay a premium for the privilege of travelling. The disadvantages to visiting Cuba during the months of July and August is the extremely hot, overbearing weather. Hurricanes can also be a problem during the months from June through to November. If you are travelling January to May there is little threat of a hurricane (although nothing can be guaranteed).

There is plenty to see and do in Cuba, one of the most popular tourist destinations is Havana, this city has a romantic atmosphere surrounding it, but also has a sense of fun loving energy. The vintage cars in Havana are everywhere to be seen, with cars ruch as Russian Lada’s and American Classic cars being present of most of the roads through this city. If all night partying is your bag, then Havana is definitely the place for you, with no lack of music and bars and fun times to be had.

If you are wanting a more peaceful location, the El Oriente on the Eastern side of Cuba could be the place. Things here move at a much slower pace, this side of the island is more relaxed, where you can take in the scenery and enjoy the relaxing way of life. It has mostly been untouched by commercialisation and is a great place to experience the true island which is Cuba.

Central Cuba is a place which must be visited, and is home to the chilling location of Trinidad. Trinidad is a beautiful place to visit and once in Cuba this must be on a tourists list of locations to hunt out. Whilst the Cuban way of life if much different, so is the food, and it is the food that must be tried when out in Cuba, forget the MacDonalds and Chips try something much more traditional whilst over here.
