Cross Trainer for Fitness Holiday

I have always enjoyed going to the gym and jogging whenever I have the opportunity. I work all day in an office sitting at a computer so it is very important that I get plenty of exercise and try to keep myself fit. I have some really good work mates who also enjoy keeping fit and once a week we go to the gym after work. We often discuss our holidays and which sort of holiday we like the best. We have all been on the sight seeing holidays and the sand and sea holidays and started thinking about what sort of holiday we could all go on which would be different. As we worked out on the Crosstrainer and the ergometer we all had one thing on our minds, where should we go for our holidays. Then a brilliant idea came to me. What about going on a Fitness holiday?

Now none of us are really so fit that an extra week of fitness activity wouldn’t help and we all thought that this would be a great way of getting fit and having a brilliant holiday at the same time. So we booked a week away at a hotel that specially caters for all fitness fanatics. It was only after we had booked the holiday that I began to wonder if maybe I was taking on too much. As I have already said I am fairly fit but not at the same level as some of the people who go to the gym seven nights a week and work out on the cross trainer and the Ergometer. The next time I went to the gym I took particular notice as to how fit these people were and sad to say I found myself sadly lacking. Even though I could use the Cross trainer and the ergometer quite well there was still room for improvement. I didn’t want to go on holiday and look a bit of a wimp

Someone had told me they had purchased a cross trainer and also an ergometer which they used every day to keep themselves fit. It made me begin to wonder if I should do the same. An ergometer is an indoor rowing machine. Indoor rowing primarily works the cardiovascular systems with typical workouts consisting of 20-40 minutes and is often referred to as a strength-endurance sport. A cross trainer can be used at home to target certain parts of the body and people use them to get their fitness levels up. I decided that this was the best way forward so the very next day I looked up what sort of cross trainers were available. I was surprised at the different sort of cross-trainers that are available and finally purchased one with a digital display on a stand that plugs into the workout machine.

So now I own my own cross trainer which I have placed in the spare bedroom. I can’t believe what a difference it has made to my fitness levels and have never felt better. I have another four months to go before my holiday and now have no fear whatsoever of not being able to keep up with the others who are in the same hotel. I use my cross trainer every morning before I go to work and again in the evening before I have my dinner. Once a week I still go to the gym with my friends from work and use the ergometer which I thoroughly enjoy. I can’t wait for the fitness holiday to come around and show off how fit I am.
